Held during March each year, the Weeks of Speed Festival is a unique programme of heart-thumping speed-related activities that is great family friendly entertainment. This year the festivities will be held over four (5) weekends commencing Sunday, March 1 and the programme will showcase everything from Speedway Cars and Dirt track Bikes, Greyhound Racing, Hill Climb, Drags, Speed Chess, Screenings of Aussie film Go!, Street Parade, Tractor Trek, Vintage vehicles & Machinery, Show and Shine, Country Markets and lots more.
Organisers plan new events each year and in 2020 the Weeks of Speed programme bursts into action on Sunday March 1 and will continue each weekend thereafter, finishing on Sunday March 29, 2020. The Weeks of Speed Festival is a major event in the Shire's social calendar and will be officially launched on Saturday March 21, at the Show and Shine event to be held in the Woolworths Carpark.
