Lake Keepit

Pick up some lunch at one of our cafes and pack a picnic for an afternoon at Lake Keepit, about 25 minutes drive from Gunnedah.

Lake Keepit is nearly the size of Sydney Harbour and is the home of a huge range of activities, from sailing to cycling.

Apart from the beautiful lake itself which is suitable for swimming and fishing, there is a fenced kids’ mini-water park, a skate park and BMX track. Lake Keepit Holiday Park offers accommodation and camping areas for those who would like to stay for more than a day.
