Gunnedah Sporting Clays 57th Gumtree Shoot Championships
This event is so popular that a poem has been written about it by Maxwell Holland in 2015:
The Gumtree Shoot
A challenge awaits all in early October
That's if you are able to remain sober
It's known as the Gumtree Shoot on the North West Plains
Shooters travel by car and bus, even areoplanes.
